Hello:
I'm relying on memory for this post, so take all that I say with a grain of
salt <g>.
MS Access 2000 was the first release of Access that came with the ability to
create internet access for Access applications. However, Access developers
had a very low opinion of this feature as the end-user was required to use
IE as their browser and were required to have Access installed on their PC.
This featured remained basically the same in MS Access 2002, 2003, and 2007.
The upcoming MS Access 2010 may have a new internet development ability.
Because of the limitations imposed by the internet development and access
abilities, many experienced Access developers preferred Dreamweaver as their
internet development tool.
Cheers,
Jerry
