Hi Charlie,
> I have numbers as a string. Might have asked this before but forgot. I want to only use commas when user is working with them in entryfields or grids. . Otherwise store them in the table as a string with no commas. Using entryfields I have tried function @R 999,999,999,999 with no luck. Can this be done without showing the commas on blank fields?
I am not sure what exactly is your situation. In what form (data type:
char, numeric ..?) are the values currently stored in the table (DBF I
guess, or some kind of SQL-Server?), or where do these values come from?
And then in a form, you want these values to be displayed for editing,
having 2 decimals separated with commas, and after editing store them
back to the table in what form?
Thanks for more details!
Kind regards, Heinz
