Even though I've added *.smf to the 'other' in navigator it still doesn't show them. Anyway more importantly your forms return the same sort of errors i.e missing class. I suspect that this may be due to the version i'm using 2.21. and/or win 10. Having been caught out with this before. I will try later on a win7 machine (previous table creation problems solved) to see if any different However I was trying to avoid clutter on screen with varius forms tightly associated with a main form, but having only minor interaction. I know this is old development but as I now only use this for personal use I resist upgrading or getting too complicated. Anyway many thanks for the trouble & time. Trevor
