I'm not sure I understand the problem. You say that you got an error
message "dBASE 2019 Executable has stopped working" but was this a dBASE
message or a Windows message?
You say it was running; do you mean before the above message?
You then say that you shut the program down... so it was still running?
else, how did you shut it down?
Other questions:
1) Will dBASE start again?
2) Do you use MS OneDrive?
3) It could be MS Defender having a hissy fit; have you tried unplugging
your machine from the internet and turning Defender off, then trying
dBASE again?
