All,
I just started getting this error, dBASE 2019 Executable has stopped working
It came out of nowhere. It was running. Then I shut the program down and started it later. I do not use the mentioned anti-virus ware. I use the Microsoft Defender.
Any other ideas? I already tried re-install. I looked at the .ini too.
Also, I thought I would download any updates I might have missed from dbase, and Microsoft has been reporting the download file as an unknown file type.
I am reporting to Microsoft, on their page that this file is known to me.

Thank you for submitting your feedback.
Me: I am wondering if the Microsoft safety mechanisms are now flagging all files that they do not know and triggering this issue with not allowing the executable to run.

I believe that there is something in the start up, towards the end, that somehow takes away the ability to work dBase.
