You'd think, but reading his message it sounded like he didn't, and just
wanted a text editor to edit files...I was thinking he was still using
an old DOS program that included code, and he just wanted to modify/fix
them...that's the premise I was looking at.

The way he wrote his message (and has not come back since to answer us)
I might still have to presume that is the case. :)

Of course, if he has the source code, but it's not running on dBASE
itself, he's in for a rude awakening trying to run code that hasn't been
compiled without actually having dBASE to run it. :)
