Mervyn,
I was able to duplicate this as far back as my oldest version on the
laptop, dBASE 9. It does the same thing as you lay out, so apparently,
it's been a regular thing, but since I have the habit of putting the
things on the form and then filling them out, I get to be the one to
find this particular anomaly. :) Oh Joy!
