What it does not say in the online help is that opens up a stock dBASE editor window that you have very little control over - because that window is not part of the grid or even your form.  You can change the font size but you have to do it via the dBASE editor menu that appears at the top of the screen. In my view, you are much better off setting the editorType to the normal default of 5-Editor which is controlled as part of the grid and which respects the font sizes set as part of the grid object. You could also use a separate editor object sat on the form with a datalink into the right field.
