Hi Guys,

Ok, I will give you greater detail in what I am trying to do. Here is a history and request in point form,

1. My app is a comprehensive Point of Sale/Service software in which I originally developed in 2003 in VDB7.5 and currently running now in dbase 11. It was an easy transition at the time from Clipper and has served me well over the past 20 years. At peak I had approx 1500 client with approximately 3 x more users across Australia.

2. After covid alot of silicon vally companies entered Australia just to add to my pain and currently I have 400 client and it is now starting to grow again. I kept up to the current styles designs upto win 10 and in the attached picture you wil see my software mirrows the win 8-10 tiles.

3. I need to take it up a notch, so launching a new brand, website, social media campaign to mirrow the new demographics and current rounded windows style. See pic 2. this is where I am trying to get to and its a design of where we need to be in the current market.

4. As the software over the years has grown considerably (currently about 2 gb in source) its fast breaching all complie limits so adding things is becoming very difficult. Add to this that the standard Dbase components in graphics have been rather poor, the only way to keep any kind of decent look I had to have exact sizing images in the Bitmap up and bitmap down section in te buttons without scaling. Because dbase destroys the integrity in the graphic. I cant tell you have difficult its been to get an exact icon that doesnt get destroyed at complie time.

5. Hence my request. A custom class of button with a good quality rounded edge and borderless as to keep up with the basic standard deployed across most electronic devices today would save me so much pain. Hence why I asked if you could right one Ronnie.

6. I understand the time factor and to waste more time learning to something I dont think dbase can do very well and unsure of its out come, is not a wise move why I am trying to run a small company and trying to pick it up off the ground again. I am currently working 17 hours per day.

7. As you can see by pic 3. the software has many buttons so to have a simple button function would save me considerable restructure and giving my product some longevity. So I am almost at a point of desperation.

I hope this gives you some insight now on what I am trying to achieve and if anyone can come up with a custom button class it would be much appreciated and am even happy to pay something for it.

Help? Anybody?

My Best Michael.
