Ed,
It sounds like you're missing a whole bunch of other information for
these guys to try and understand what the problem is. Which version of
Crystal Reports. Which version of dBASE? DOS? IV? etc.
Just off the top of my head, it sounds like you have an interface
problem between your dBASE version (compiled program) and the Crystal
Reports program you're using. How it's being delivered from dBASE IDE
and working, to delivered from dBASE compiled program and not working,
seems to be something you need to provide more answers to. You almost
are phrasing these questions like everyone already knows what you're
doing and has all the answers ready made for you, without you providing
much background. So...................
Take a deep breath, and collect the necessary information before
throwing up your hands and assuming everyone else knows what your
hardware, software and programs do. We don't. We don't know if you're
trying to use Alias's, that you've compiled in the program (which if I
remember right doesn't work) Since it works from the IDE, I suspect
something of this nature might be the issue...but I don't because you
haven't posted this information so I'm sure the real experts here are
just as confused about what it is you're using and doing. :(
