You are _not_ missing the appData folder. It is there, you just can't
see it because windows defaults that folder to be hidden from users.
If it wasn't there then dBASE would not have successfully found the
iniFile and set _app.inifile to that location.
The solution is quite simple. You have to tell Windows that it's ok for
you to see hidden folders. Open windows explorer (the quick method is to
press, and keep pressed, the special windows button at lower left of the
keyboard, then press "E" for Explorer. See the picture below.
Select "View" from the top menu. Over on the right hand side you'll see
a hidden items checkbox... put a check in it. You can now see appData
when you go looking for it. Just so you know the "local" folder
underneath appData is also hidden by default.
