I have never been successful (probably because I never gave it a earnest try) with the debugger. My preference is placing ? or msgbox() at multiple places to check values. Debugger moves through commands very fast then you  have to remember values that you saw. I find ? much more convenient. The output will be there until and unless dbase is closed. Regards Akshat
