A dBASE licence is issued in respect of a specific user and is not
transferable. This means that if I no longer need my copy of dBASE I
can't legally give or sell it to anyone else.
A dBASE user may install a licenced copy of dBASE on more than one
machine, say a desktop computer and a laptop, but may only use one
machine at any given time.
Each dBASE licence makes provision for being installed a limited number
of times. This is to allow for computer upgrades or hardrive rebuilds.
In the past when I have exceeded the permitted number of installs a
quick email to Customer Service, as Ken has suggested, resolved the
issue. Whether they will be quite so accommodating where you have
installed the program on 5 computers is, however, a different matter.
