But there is a catch. valid is not executed() if there is no change in value of entryfield Setting the value of validrequired to true will force execution of valid() event. Select the entryfield on the form. Scroll to the bottom of the inspector and you will see the validrequired property. Set it to true. Now go to the events tab of the entryfield and click on the spanner at the side of the valid event. You will be taken to the code editor. Change the event as required and then check.
