Bob, I responded to your email to tech support. (I'm on the email list.)
I don't know why you didn't get it.

To install dBASE you need the dBASE installer. Go to here:

http://www.dbase.com/support/updates-and-fixes/

At the top of the page you will see "dBASE(r) 2019.2 Full Release".
Click that.

This will open the page a bit, and show:

Detailed Features and FixesFile Names:
dBASE201900b2618Full20200218.exeRelease Date: 2/18/2020File Size: 316 MB
Requirements: Once downloaded, run the file either via the Windows Start
Menu Run Option, or by using Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder
in which you saved the file and then double clicking on it. The just
install directly over the previous dBASE® 2019.x version. If you
encounter any errors during the installation process, please contact
Technical Support.

The text "dBASE201900b2618Full20200218.exe" is red. Click it. You will
be asked to download it. (The browser may say something like "Would you
like to save this file?") Click "Save File" (or appropriate button,
depending on your browser).

When it is downloaded, you will need to go to where files are downloaded
by your browser -- leave the browser open for the moment. If you haven't
designated a specific folder, then using Windows File Explorer, on the
left side you should see "Downloads". Click that. Does the file exist
there? If

If it does *DO NOT RUN IT YET*. Wait ...

If the file is not in the "Downloads" folder, in the browser toward the
top an icon should be there showing you downloaded a file. In Firefox,
this looks like a down-arrow pointing to an "in box". Click the button.
It will usually show the name of the file, and also have an option to
open the folder that the file was downloaded to. If you have that
option, do that.

Go to the folder that has the .exe file. Click *ONCE* on it. Then right
click and select "Copy" from the popup menu.

Go to the top level of your drive in the Windows File Explorer. Create a
new folder for installers -- it should be something that you will
remember. (I have one that I all "Software Patches and Updates" that I
tend to use for these.) Once you create the folder, open it, and then
right click in the folder and select "Paste".

You have copied this to a place that you can find again in case you need
it again.

Now run it. This will install dBASE over the top of your current
installation.

Ken
