Subject Re: IDE halts for 1 minute when exiting app From Lee Grant <camilee@nospam.comcast.net> Date Wed, 1 Sep 2021 12:46:26 -0400 Newsgroups dbase.getting-started Paolo and Ken, This might be a continuation of the Menu "Close" crashing dBASE in dBASE 12 issue that we were having. The fact that it behaves properly after dBASE is shutdown (thereby unloading memory and the interpreter) it almost sounds like while dBASE is loaded, it still has the files open in the interpreter and are having to unload them to read them.
