Ah, yes. Okay. Weird, but I am seeing it now. There is some issue with the IDE not responding. That makes a big difference. I have no idea what could be causing this. There might be something in the specific sequence of the close method of the generic app class, but I couldn't state what. I suggest posting this in bug-reports with the code and steps given (run start.prg, use the file menu and exit, then try clicking on anything in the IDE, dBASE takes time to respond). (It's your bug, it would be best if you reported it.)
