Runtime is free to download and install on as many computers as required. Disadvantage of runtime is that it only runs compiled code. BDE is installed in both the cases (unless you specifically cancel it in case of runtime) Copying files is a tedious approach and does not work always. Installing runtime is the safest. Regards Akshat
