I would post this in the announcements NG as I don't believe that Mike
reads this group.
It is something we are all interested to know, but there is no history
of upfront communication about roadmaps, just occasionally a question or
a reaction to a rant in the annoucements group, or a post in the
cto-wants-to-know group.
It will be several years before 32-bit support is dropped from the
Windows OS and migrating to 64-bit would require a new database engine
and that is not a small job. So I can't see any change happening in the
next version - but I'd happily be proven wrong :)
I had posted a wish about a Linux portal for executables that Mike
Rozlog had responded to under the thread "Next-level support for DOS
running on 64-bit Windows® with the NEW dbDOSv™ 2.0!" from 29th March
2021 in Announcements.
