Let me place the issue as I have understood.
all dbf files are workig perfectly on windows 10 machine.
You have issues with dbase IV DOS files on a windows 7 pc.
This could be probably due to changes in windows which rectified the
error in 10.
The alternative.
If you can open the files in dbase (on windows 7 machine) using xdml
commands like "copy to" export the data to a txt file (Hopefully there
are no memo or blob fields)
Create a new file with the same structure.
Import the data.
The new files should work on all machine now.
Regards
Akshat
