Heidi SQL is database manager used by MariaDB (Atleast on my system) but
cannot say for sure.
I will recommend checking for what is the backend database system.
Check for enteries in your program files/program files x86 folders for
folder named MariaDb 10.4 or similar (Similar to attached screenshot).
As an alternative open Heidisql and check the status bar. Once we know
the exact backend server then I can send you further help accordingly.
Once you have the server then you can check for installed drivers.
Open control panel/Administrative tools/odbc data sources 32 Bit. And
check for existing drivers. You may have to scroll to check for matching
drivers.
Once we have these 2 info I will be able to suggest the exact steps for
connection.
Meanwhile I will suggest you start with Ken's tutorial. Mervyn has
provided excellent instructions for starters. dBase has many differences
and hence I suggest you get used to the new basics.
Regards
Akshat
