Hi Marc,
There is a setting on thunderbird that allows you to leave messages on
the server for a set number of days or until they are deleted. We're
using POP and this setting and can download the same messages from
different computers as long as we sync within 14 days (that we've set).
I use it to let someone else deal with emails for the nursery when I'm
on holiday, but all the messages are available for me to look at on my
computer when I return.
