Just to be sure, as you mention Outbox, did you also check your Sent
folder? the Outbox is only a temporary folder where e-mail only transit
until the send command is successful.
When I send an email using mv_mail.cc and my hotmail account, the
message does get saved in the sent items on the server, and it also
makes it to my Outlook client's sent emails. I'd suggest to first log on
to the mail server (typically through a web portal) to see if it is in
your sent items and if it is, try to find out why Thunderbird does not
retrieve that sent item from the server.
If it isn't there, I would think that the issue is on your e-mail
server, not with Thunderbird, because as a client, Thunderbird only
connects to the server to get new items from *any* folder and there is
actually no interaction whatsoever between mv_mail.cc and Thunderbird -
mv_mail only interacts with the server, not with the e-mail client.
You may also want to include an error checking mechanism in your code
after sending the email with mv_mail. Something like:
if oMail.errorcode>0
msgbox("An Error occurred while sending the email:
"+oMail.errortext)
endif
Marc's code does not produce visible errors, it only generates
oMail.errorcode and oMail.errortext (the message) which you need to query.
