Did you clean out the Source Aliases that are installed for you with dBASE? You shouldn't do that, you can destroy parts of the internal working of the designers that way. Go to the Desktop Properties dialog (Properties menu, Desktop Properties), find the Source Aliases tab. Look for FormControls. If it's not there, you have a problem.
