Subject SET DECIMALS From Gaetano D. <gaetanodd@hotmail.com> Date Tue, 23 Mar 2021 03:08:35 +1000 Newsgroups dbase.getting-started When I SET DECIMALS TO from the command line, the change does not get saved in the INI file and the next time I start dBase, it reverts to the default of 2. The change only gets saved when it is made in the Desktop Properties OR if you change them in command line then go check what the current setting is and click OK to exit from the Desktop Properties without making any change. When I set safety off from the command line, the setting does get saved to the INI file as the setting is retained after restarting dBase. Is there a rule of thumb to determine which settings get saved and which ones don't get saved when you change them in the command line or in a PRG? Cheers, Gaetano.
