Subject dbase not starting under windows 10 From Antti T <antti.tanskanen@ki.se> Date Mon, 15 Mar 2021 03:57:59 -0400 Newsgroups dbase.getting-started I have installed dbase versions 9,12 and 2019 in three different laptops. Recently dbase in two of these computers have stopped to work. In one computer dbase 9 runs but dbase 12 starts (shows the logo) but then fades (shows on toolbar as running). In second computer dbase 12 runs fine and in third it crashes when I start running programs (both dbase 12 and 2019) but starts and works from command promt atleast to some degree. As this has emerged in recent moths I believe it is related to windows or virus protection. Computers are from two different employers and problems exist in both organizations computers. Virus protection seems to be from Microsoft. Computer are from Lenovo and HP, the only working one is older Lenovo X1 Carbon. Any idea where this problem comes? br. Antti
