You cannot delete files using the desktop properties dialog.
To delete simply open the folder in windows explorer select the files
and press delete to delete the files.
A sure shot error free way of deleting files.
And in case you delete extra files they will be there in the recycle bin.
You can delete them from within dbase also but accidental deletions
cannot be recovered and backup files are not displayed here.
Hence windows explorer is the best way for cleaning up files.
