I did figure this out. I re-wrote part of my code around 2 years ago for this particular script. As it turns out I had some goofy indexing code in the script. It took two years for this to show up in the program. Why it worked for 2 years, I don't know but I had noticed a hesitation in finishing most days. I think everything is ok now. Thanks very much for the responses.

So I went into dbase to test it further and found that dbase 10 ob windows 10 will not open for me. Could this be due to corruption of a file? This runs my business so it is very impotant I fix this fast. Should I re-install dbase? Not sure if I still have access to dbase 10... Thanks for any help!
