We've had a number of instances where something just stopped working when nothing to our knowledge has changed on the machine.  That's when I immediately check the Windows 10 update history.  Go to Settings->Update & Security->Windows Update->View update history.  If there's an update that occurred between the last time dBase ran properly and now, you could try uninstalling that update to see if the problem is fixed.

Windows update has been known to affect many different things and it's not consistent across different devices.  We have one laptop in particular where the trackpad stops working after a particular update is applied.  Driver is latest version.  After uninstalling the update - everything is fine.  Of course, Micro$oft keeps trying to install it with every round of updates, so it's like a game of whack-a-mole.  Sigh.
