If more folks have used that to connect to dBase, then so will I. Once data is in newer database, I am not too worried about consuming it. My primary concern was about getting that connection established, not being familiar at all with dBase (and seeing that expertise on it isn't as widely available as it is for more common DB systems out there). Thanks for the mention about the initial time scheme, it may indeed or not differ but will need to look out for that. Good to know that I can get some good advice here if need be. Franck
