What could be the problem? It could be a lot of things, unfortunately the Report Designer is not the most stable interface in the software. Suggest as a precaution you use Ctrl+S a lot when working on your reports, and make a backup before you start working on them. It's a useful tool, but something broke in there, and I am not sure even the folk at dBase, LLC know what it is.
