You might need to provide more context, e.g. where are the data files
stored? is the screenshot from a dBase form or from a web page?

Some questions that may trigger something:

Do you have access to the source code to add some msgbox() to check on
Ldriver and INI file location, or temporarily turn on the alert on
language mismatch?

Have you checked the language driver settings in the active INI file and
the Regional settings of the server?

Is this happening on various different memo fields or just this one?

Is the problem the same if you open the files locally or on the server?

Is the problem the same with any computer accessing the same memo field?

Not much of a solution but it may trigger some thoughts & checks...
