It is indeed a poor solution both for end users to maintain and for security reasons if the intent is just to have the connection details in a central location for the developer, but Mustansir was asking if it was possible, so I explained both how to do it and why not to do it... After that, the choice is his. The CDM option is the much better option IMO.
