Michel,

Well dBASE9 was released in 2014 and Windows10 in 2015.
So while we expect backward compatibility in Windows software we don't always get it, so I'm wondering why you think it is compatible.

That said, what you could do is download a free evaluation version of dBASE2019 and run your app under that to see if the same stuff happens.

However, in my development experience, random malfunctions or inconsistent error messages are usually due to faulty coding on my part rather than some incompatibility with the operating system.  We need more information on your particular issues in order to guess at possible causes.
