I have bit the bullet and upgraded to 2019.1 but have not yet tested a recompile EXE and runtime on either problem PC's. I am really hoping it's not an issue with the BDE because there are no updates. Hopefully in the next day or so it will be OK and then I will let the newsgroup know of the outcome.
