You may wish to take a look in the OLH, you can set the default settings
for your application in a setup routine for your application (that would
be run before starting menus or whatever and should affect everything
until the application is closed):
SET POINT TO [<expC>]
There are other regional settings as well, such as dates and so on that
you may want to look at.
