Don,

Can you elaborate for the people that do know. :)

In other words, more information is needed about what you want to do
programmatically (double m gets rid of the red underline :) ), do you
want to move to a certain record? Do you want to advance the record? Do
you have a calculation that should reveal a chosen row?  ..And so on.

There is an example in the tutorial that shows how to make a set of
buttons that allows you to change the record showing, also to search for
a specific row in a rowset..etc.  Your answer will be in that
tutorial...but essentially, at the rowset level you are using commands
connected to buttons like  rowset.next(), rowset.first(), rowset.last(),
rowset.locateNext() etc...

The question you're asking, however, is kind of weird because the Grid
was designed for mouse movement of records....so as you see, more is
better in this situation. That is an onChange method that can be hooked
to do some movement of rows, but hopefully someone more adept can answer
more of your question...I'm just trying to flesh out the real question
you're asking. :)
