Initially, when Borland moved table handling out of dBASE into the BDE,
a BDE Alias had to be created by using the BDEAdmin program. Somewhere
along the way one of the improvements made to dBASE was the ability to
create User BDE Aliases from within dBASE itself. Details of these
aliases are kept in plus.ini.
