No Akshat,

The error does not go away with restart of dBase, or even switching off the computer and restarting is not effective - I have spent hours on this program, and I was about ready to try and deploy it ( Have not done that before) when this error raised its head ? - Having a spell for awhile. and come back to it.
I could copy the whole thing to you if you like and you could look at it on another computer. I would say that is probably not the  neatest bit of coding you have seen but it executes OK (or did) and that is all I want ?? . It seems difficult to believe that if you execute the program a number of times (Lost count of the number) and then it has errors that a directory change should occur - They were executed in a straight lone, with no other file being used at that time.

I will be happy to share the code with the world if anyone can assist. My apologies Akshat, entirely accidental on my part. Harping on, the same happened with the menu forms. No change by me and then they do not execute any more" Maybe I should download a fresh copy pf dBase - I am using Windows 10 Pro combined with the latest version of dBase 12.1
