I tried to migrate to dBASE for windows but it was so badly written that I gave up on it and switched to Foxpro and Promatrix. I've still got a few commercial programs that I'm milking right now.

Good Evening Joe,
The systems have changed completely.
I switched from VFP to dbase approx 3-4 years back.

The style of programming is totally different. You will have to unlearn
the old ways of accessing data and adopt new ways for accessing data.

A simple example to state the difference
recno() no longer works with oodml so all tables need a primary key
column so that individual records can be identified.

So please go through the tutorial. I went through it half way and I am
still stuck with some old ways.

In fact I started developing what I wanted to develop and went only
through those portions that were required.
