you make it sound like you are not familiar with the new dBASE products
or website.
those of us from the last century have lots of experience with the
evolution of dBase from infancy to 2019.

you need to start identifying what version dBase you are using.
The new dBase has utilities you may find of value for your upgrade exercise.

The dbase.newsgroup has some great programmers volunteering to help but
they need clear information.
