The string class was designed for output to HTML files ... it was
created originally for IntraBuilder (which was between Visual dBASE 5.x
and Visual dBASE 7.0). The control retains a lot of stuff that unless
you're generating web pages isn't all that useful.

Frankly, blinking text is considered bad form in the HTML world anyway
... :) It's annoying as all get out. I would just make the text red or
something ...
