It works fine.  My EXE and INI are in the same folder. I am compiling EXE using dbase 8. It generates error. Unknown databasename bhlocal. This database is already defined in UserBDEAlias in ini file. Attach are 3 images pertaining to this problem. Can anybody please help on this It may be logical to ask why use dbase 8 when dbase 11 is working. My application is on testing where I need to  run parallel with DBASE DOS application on XP platform Best Regards Mustansir
