Subject program alert: table is read only From Stephen Snell <stephencsnell@gmail.com> Date Mon, 18 Jun 2018 16:28:24 -0400 Newsgroups dbase.getting-started I have an application that runs fine in the IDE, the installer works flawlessly on that machine (Windows 10) but on CERTAIN other windows 10 machines, is not able to open, read or write to tables, typically with the error in the subject above. I have modified all the properties of the installation folder in program files(x86) to allow read-write permissions to everything and everybody. Still, no success. Does anyone have a list of all the settings needed to be set to allow access to tables in the program directory?
