Hi All: I'm still useing DB 2.8 w/Win10. The alert msg.s I'm refering to appears on the screen when opening DB that must be clicked on before you can proceed, quite bothersome.
I was searching through some old news msg's and found one from Ken Mayer dated June 2005. (I said they were old). The problem he refereed to, DB was searching for a custom form file that didn't exist. The cure was to open the PLUS.INI file in notepad, find the offending code and eliminate it. Sample:
[FormDesigner]
MethodEditor=1
GridOneCharacter=0
ShowGrid=1 (etc, etc,)
mycontro.cc (one of my Alert msg)
I've performed this procedure many times in days gone by. My problem Now, I cannot find this file. Any help with this problem, greatly appreciated....... Bolb
