(see "signature" below) By the way, the software is dBASE Plus 9.5.1 ... not "Pro" ... :) In the meantime, you may want to look at the Knowledgebase for dBASE (http://www.dbase.com/support, click the "Support" menu option, then click "Knowledgebase" ...) There is an article in the "Beginning" section on working with the grid that can get you going.
