Third Party Tools -- meaning software that isn't dBASE.

dBASE does not natively create PDF files. There are a lot of software
packages out there, however, that act as Printer Drivers, and you can
control the printout from inside dBASE. I personally am fond of PDF995
(inexpensive -- $10), there are many others.

There are ActiveX controls that can handle email. dBASE Plus 9.5 comes
with the Catalyst controls, including the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
control, but it does not handle attachments. You can purchase a license
for their full email software; MarshallSoft has an ActiveX some
developers here in dBASE land like, there are quite a few others. Check
the third-party-tools newsgroup here ...
