Jim,
Thank you for your take on things. Mervyn seems like the resident DBASE "Guru" from all of the posts he takes the time to answer and help others.
As for running DBASE on older systems, that is what VirtualBOX is there for although I don't know much about the modern DBASE yet, I'm sure I'm going to learn about it.
