This is called Code Signing, and can be costly, and > may have to be re-upped every year. Chapter 28 of my book (the 3rd > Edition) discusses this. My software is now code-signed, but that doesn't stop UAC asking the question each time the app is started.   All it does is show my name securely as the developer of the software.   Then it's up to my users as to whether they trust me!
